Almost Famous the musical debuted at The Old Globe in 2019 and is headed to Broadway later this year. It's set to begin previews on Broadway on October 3rd and open on November 3rd.

Beauty and the Beast is an animated film that came out in 1991 from Disney. The film was adapted into a Broadway musical in 1994. It had out-of-town tryouts in Houston before coming to Broadway. This was the first Broadway adaptation of one of their movies.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is a movie that was made in 1988 with Steve Martin and Michael Caine. The movie was adapted into a musical in 2005 with John Lithgow and Norbert Leo Butz.

1776 the musical was originally on Broadway in 1969. It was made into a movie musical in 1972 with many of the original Broadway cast members reprising their roles. Matilda the musical film will be streaming on Netflix later this year in December!

Mean Girls the musical was on Broadway from March 2018 until January 2017. The film adaptation is being produced and is in the works.
